Special Olympic Cayman Islands athletes and directors accept donation from Rotaract Blue.
Rotaract Blue Cayman Islands, recently donated just under US $30,000 to five Special Needs Organisations in the Cayman Islands.
These funds were raised via the Open Arms Gala, an event held annually in May. The Gala celebrates and honors members of the Cayman Islands Special Needs Community and their family members, persons normally not recognized for their efforts and contributions.
The donations were distributed between: Special Needs Foundation Cayman, The Lighthouse School, Sunrise Adult Training Centre, Maple House and Special Olympics Cayman Islands.

The funds will be used for the various organisations dedicated efforts such as: rebuilding playground equipment at the Lighthouse school, moving residents into the new Maple House and assisting with various costs for the Special Olympics World Games.
Special Needs is a pillar platform of Rotaract Blue, and we are proud to continue to support this community in whatever way we can.

The 2019 Open Arms Gala will take place on Saturday, May 25th at Ristorante Pappagallo.
