Mechon and Tommy Ebanks’ came and did a presentation, parents of little Skylar "Mimi" Ebanks on their experience with "Mimi" thus for, who has been fighting cancer since she was 6 months old. 

Rotaractor Stephanie Espeut was so touched by 

that she wanted to do her part to raise awareness about childhood cancer being a mother herself and her family also being a affected by cancer. Stephanie managed to  fundraise $22,000 and participated in the head-shaving event, Hero’s for Hannah. The event raises funds for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a childhood cancer research charity in the United States, so that Mimi would be able to continue her treatment. Members showed their support by attending the event and some donated.
